CASINO - JANUARY 29-30, 2022

We have secured a weekend for our next Casino!  Casinos are very important to our association as it provides us with needed funding so we can continue to offer programs and events.  The last casino (2018), we received $72,200 to use over a 2 year period.  We haven't had a casino for a few years now due to Covid-19, so we are hopeful to participate in this casino to earn funding.

You can ENTER straight into the Starlight Casino Edmonton through the

Our Main Entrance #9 located on 90 Ave. between 170 St. and 178 St.

We are looking for volunteers to help with many different volunteer roles and different shifts.  The casino runs from 10am to 3:15 am.  Volunteers will be provided meals during their shift and those travelling will have a hotel room paid for.  (More details provided to those who sign up to volunteer)

CAN YOU VOLUNTEER?

We are looking for volunteers who can be bankers, cashiers, chip runners, count room volunteers and a count room supervisor.  All volunteer roles do not need any prior experience.  You can sign up for 1 day or both days and 1 shift or multiple shifts.  Whatever works for you! But each volunteer must be 18 years of age or older!

Hours are like this:
10:15am to 7pm

Bankers 

Cashiers

Chip Runners (Sunday, need 2 chip runners)

 

6:30pm to 3:15am

Bankers (Saturday need 1 Banker, Sunday need 1 Banker)

Cashiers (Sunday need 1 Cashier)

Chip Runners

 

11:30pm to 3:30am

Count room Volys (Saturday need 5 volys, Sunday, need 5 volys)

Count Room Supervisor 

 

VOLUNTEER EXPENSES PAID

Volunteers will be provided meals during their shift(s)

Fuel, parking, bus, Uber, taxi, babysitting costs will be covered by WSWA, please save your receipts.

 

Those travelling from outside Edmonton will have a hotel room 2 nights max. and fuel costs covered by WSWA, please save your receipts.  Breakfast paid if you overnight in Edmonton.

 

Please book your own hotel room and save the receipt.  Do not book the Fantasyland Hotel in the West Edmonton Mall as the room rates are too expensive and will not be reimbursed.
