Alberta Rippers Rec Competitive Series provides young skiers and riders an opportunity to compete in a FUN event.

This is great for those new skiers and riders who have participated in our Alberta Rippers Camps or our other Rip N Ride Camps that now are ready to move to competitions.

A FUN element of the Alberta Rippers Program  is the ALBERTA RIPPERS REC SERIES

Our recreational series of Learn to Compete opportunities breaks down potential barriers of cost and intimidation to introduce recreational skiers and riders to competing.

The purpose of the rec series is:

  • to expand the number of new competitive fun opportunities for recreational skiers and riders

  • to break down barriers, educate, and introduce new skiers and riders to the sport

  • to provide exposure to modified competitions and learning opportunities

  • to provide a fun, inclusive environment and on the water experience

Each event is priced to provide affordability and great value with a focus on FUN!

See below for the Rec Series dates.

Participants will have the chance to compete on the mini slalom course designed to both build confidence and encourage athletes to put their developing skills that they learned into practice.  The participants can also compete on the regular slalom course.  Athletes decision on how they want to compete.

Events this year will be at Water Ski Provincials, Water Ski Western Canadian Championships and at a Canada Day Event.

Participants will have the opportunity to compete in wakeboard and or wakesurf at our grassroots wake events.  Events this year are aligned with our AB Wake Tour.  We have 3 stops this year and we look forward to new competitors.
