"Waterloo Dance" invites professionals and amateurs who want to master the most popular modern trends to learn Latin American dances. Our studio conducts classes in 5 main styles:
brazilian samba. This is an amazing mixture of elements of African ritual dances and classical European choreography. She is characterized by frequent changes of positions, impetuous hip movements, syncopated rhythms, and most importantly, a very special, sensual style of performance;
cuban rumba. The slowest Latin American dance of African origin. Its main features are a wide step and smooth erotic movements of partners;
cha-cha-cha. It took shape in a separate direction in the 50s of the twentieth century and is a kind of mixture of rumba and mambo;
paso doble. This passionate dance comes from Spain, it can be considered an imitation of bullfighting: the partner portrays a matador, and the partner — his muleta, or cloak;
jive. This is the apotheosis of the Latin American program — one of the varieties of swing that appeared in the United States in the 1940s. Swift and sparkling, it allows partners to fully demonstrate their technical skills and physical fitness.
