RIP N RIDE

OVERVIEW

Rip 'N Ride is Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada's SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

This program is designed to teach the skills needed to have FUN on the water from qualified skilled coaches.

Rip 'N Ride helps participants develop the fundamental skills necessary in towed water sports. The program leads participants through a safe and effective progression and encourages you to try various disciplines. Once you complete the skills on one report card you can move up to the next level.

At a Rip 'N Ride Event, participants will be encouraged to complete skill cards, based on their varied skill level and encouraged to the next skill level.

The various towed water sports taught through Rip‘n Ride include Water Ski, Slalom, Trick, Jump, Barefoot, Wakeboard and Wakeskate (Wakesurf is currently being developed)

This is  for young skiers and riders and will guide them thru the appropriate skill progression, provide a solid foundation and knowledge base to build children's athletic abilities.

Rip ' N Ride has many levels and starts with safety, basic dock skills, understanding equipment and getting out of the water on skis or a board.

When all the skills and levels of Rip 'N Ride are completed,  skiers and riders are ready to enter local competitions.

By using Rip N Ride to teach new skiers and riders we can grow our sport by attracting and retaining new participants and develop the skills of these participants.
