Water Ski & Wakeboard Alberta (WSWA) is pleased to announce the details of its

2019 Junior Water Ski Team and Development Program.


The 2019 Junior Water Ski Team continues the tradition of recognizing and providing supplemented training opportunities for the most promising young water skiers in Alberta. In addition, WSWA is expanding the development side of the program in 2019 to make it more inclusive and to provide development opportunities and recognition to even more skiers. 

WSWA is pleased to announce the following individuals to members

of the 2019 Junior Elite Water Ski Team (alphabetical order):

Ellie Germain (U18)

WSWA is pleased to announce that the following individuals have qualified to participate in the Junior Development Program (alphabetical order), having qualified for Nationals in at least one event:

Other skiers are eligible to qualify for participation in the Development Program at any time during the season if they achieve their Nationals Rating in at least one event.

Junior Elite Water Ski Team

Qualification Criteria

Top Overall U18 and U14 Skiers in Alberta, plus up to 4 Wild Cards



Kick off weekend at Winsport (Canada Olympic Park)

Pre/In/Post-Season Dryland Training

Fully-funded In-Season Camps

Free Team Uniform

Priority access to discounted training at partner schools (Including Predator Bay (defined times) and Shalom Park)


Development Program

Qualification Criteria

Nationals Rating in any event


Discounted Training at Partner Schools and Clubs (Including Predator Bay (defined times) and Shalom Park)

Ability to Purchase Team Uniform
