This is  for young skiers and riders will guide kids thru the appropriate skill progression, provide a solid foundation and knowledge base to build children's athletic abilities.

Rip ' N Ride has many levels and starts with safety, basic dock skills, understanding equipment and getting out of the water on skis or a board.

When all the skills and levels of Rip 'N Ride are completed,  skiers and riders are ready to enter local competitions.

indoor water ski program

This indoor pool water ski program in Fort McMurray will introduce new participants to towed watersports in a safe and barrier-free environment. The program will use an indoor winch and will be available year round and is the first indoor water  ski program in North America

We are excited to announce Syncrude as the title sponsor of the program.  Syncrude also has the naming rights for the Syncrude Aquatic Centre at MacDonald Island in Fort McMurray making them the natural partner for the indoor water ski program.

We are very excited about this new opportunity to get more participants to learn to ski and more advanced skiers and riders to develop their skills year-round and thrilled to partner with Syncrude and all our partners in this new Syncrude Indoor Water Ski Program.

junior slalom program

The WSWA Junior Slalom Program is for recreation and competitive slalom skiers aged 21 and under.

LEVEL OF SKIING

You must be competent at getting out of the water on a single slalom ski (no combos)

If you can run the slalom course – awesome.  If you cannot, that’s cool too – but hope you will be working towards that but not necessary.

The program runs at the Predator Bay Water Ski Club in Calgary
